Crowdfunding Campaign Launched to Deliver “Life-Sustaining Water” to Communities Affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake
We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the recent Kumamoto earthquake.
Our thoughts are with all those who have been impacted, and we sincerely hope for their safety, a swift recovery of daily life, and the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the affected communities.
FREE Co., Ltd. has launched a water supply support initiative for communities affected by the Kumamoto earthquake, using our atmospheric water generator, “POTORI POS1.”
With some areas still facing challenges in securing a stable water supply, there is an urgent need to establish an environment where people can access water continuously.
Rather than waiting for support to be organized, FREE has already begun its relief activities. On August 10, one POTORI unit was shipped to Uki City, and on August 13, two units were shipped to Hikawa Town, for a total of three units.
Through our crowdfunding campaign, we aim to continue providing support to affected communities and establish a system that enables us to respond to future requests for assistance.
More Than Delivering a Machine — Creating an Environment Where Water Remains Available
POTORI produces water from moisture in the air and purifies it, enabling a stable supply of water according to local needs and circumstances.
Our goal is not only to provide temporary water assistance during a disaster, but also to help create an environment where communities can secure water when they need it, particularly at local disaster preparedness and evacuation facilities.
We hope that this initiative will help support the daily lives of those affected and contribute to the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the region.
